You’re probably used to pre drinking on cheap wine or a few bargain beers. But how much better would it be if you made your own delicious cocktails?
Usually we wouldn’t advise mixing drinks, but if you follow some really simple cocktail recipes then you’ll quickly see how easy it is to conjure up a ‘shaken-not-stirred’ drinking delight.
You can make your cocktails just by mixing the drinks in a glass or large bowl, but we would definitely recommend getting a proper cocktail shaker. The kit from Amazon, for example, makes it much easier and you can do more with it.
To get you started, here’s a few of our favourite cocktails along with easy guides on how to make them for yourself.
- Mandarin crush
30 ml Absolut mandarin vodka
Freshly squeezed orange and lemon juice
Splash of red wine over crushed ice
- Caramel apple Martini
30 ml vanilla vodka
10 ml butterscotch schnapps
10 ml sour apple liqueur
- Pillow mint
30 ml Irish whiskey
5 ml Kahlua
5 ml peppermint schnapps
